Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust’s 3rd Clinical Update Sleep will guide the delegates through the latest developments of sleep medicine, and review the evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea, hypersomnia, parasomnia and insomnia, as well as circadian rhythm disorders.

The conference is set up in a multi-disciplinary approach to highlight different aspects of the management of patients with sleep disorders. An update on recent clinical trials and hot topics concludes the day. A poster session will provide investigators the chance to present original data and network among their peer group.

EEG in the First Two Years of Life

Comprehensive ILAE teaching course with an emphasis on interactive and practical sessions, in Cambridge's second oldest college. This is a 3 ½ day residential EEG course that is interactive with an emphasis on interactive, hands-on experience. The content covers normal maturational aspects, abnormal EEG pattern and graphoelements as well as the range of seizures and epilepsies encountered in day to day practice in the first two years of life and consists of lectures and practical workshops during which EEG examples will be reviewed by participants in small groups under the supervision of a faculty tutor.

The course is targeted to paediatric and adult neurologists, neurophysiologists and neonatologist who are dealing with neonates and infants with seizures or epilepsy. It is limited to 48 participants, so early booking is strongly recommended. Basic EEG knowledge is a requirement and applicants will be selected on the basis of their CVs.

The course is organized under the auspice of the Diagnostic Methods Commission of the ILAE. A limited number of bursaries are available.

31st International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN 2018) of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN)

 The Poster/Platform abstract submission deadline has been extended to Sunday, December 10, 2017.

The ICCN 2018 Program Committee is now accepting abstract submissions for platform and poster presentations during the meeting. All abstracts must be submitted online by December 10, 2017 at 11:59pm ET. No exceptions will be made.

IFCN Fellowships for Young Scientists
IFCN will provide 100 fellowships of up to $1,000 USD to attend ICCN 2018. Recipients are expected to register to attend ICCN 2018 and to present their poster or platform presentation personally. Visit the ICCN 2018 website for complete information.

Translation Assistance
The ACNS International Relations Committee may be able to offer language assistance to authors who would like the English translation of their abstract reviewed prior to submission. Those interested in assistance may contact ACNS at iccn2018@acns.org.

Please allow ample time to work with translators prior to the submission deadline of December 10, 2017. The abstract submission deadline will not be extended for those requesting or waiting for translation assistance. Please keep in mind that all ICCN 2018 session and materials will be presented in English.

Abstract submission will open on September 1, 2017. All abstracts must be submitted online by December 10, 2017 at 11:59pm ET. No exceptions will be made.
